Fernando, I am an XML specialist, and I am only on this list because I've been
working on a project for our library and our librarian referred me to it.  So, I
hadn't looked at anything on the above referenced page before today.

However, in taking a look at the genvalidate.xsl file, no, you aren't missing
anything.  For the given error message type the only things output are the
offending, single-character subfield code and a dynamically generated ID, which
may give some hint from the XSLT processor used by whoever created the XSLT file
as to where in the source document the error occurred, but this is certainly not
a standard feature (as you can see from your output above).
